2. Use of Service

Trust Marketplace provides a platform for users to buy and sell items locally. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this service
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree not to post prohibited items or illegal content
• You agree to provide accurate information in your listings

3. Listings and Transactions

Sellers are responsible for accurately describing items and honoring sales. Buyers agree to pay the listed price plus applicable fees. Trust Marketplace acts as a facilitator and is not party to transactions between users.

4. Fees and Payments

Trust Marketplace charges a 9.9% commission fee on completed sales. All payments are processed through Stripe, and users agree to Stripe's terms of service. Fees are non-refundable except in cases of proven fraud or error.

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to circumvent our payment system
• Use automated systems to access the service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Ratings and Reviews

Users may rate and review transactions. Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The Trust Marketplace platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant us a license to use it for operating the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Trust Marketplace is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of sellers to complete sales. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of disputes between users, we encourage resolution through direct communication. Trust Marketplace may provide assistance but is not obligated to resolve disputes. Users agree to binding arbitration for unresolved disputes.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Users may also close their accounts at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
